On 11 September 2026, Ca’ Sagredo will host the Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Congress Awards, bringing Thomas Misse’s international concept to Venice at the height of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
For Thomas Misse, the world’s major cultural weeks have become more than dates on an international calendar. They provide the setting for a Royal Gentlemen concept built around Grand Art de Vivre, exceptional locations and, above all, carefully curated encounters. From Paris during Haute Couture Week to Cannes during the Cannes Film Festival, Royal Gentlemen has developed a distinctive format in which an elegant dinner becomes a meeting point for personalities from business, culture, fashion, philanthropy and international society. This September, that journey continues in Venice.
On Friday, 11 September, Misse and Marek Harmony will host the Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Congress Awards at Ca’ Sagredo together with Anna Stukkert, founder of the Congress Awards. Conceived under the theme La Dolce Vita, the evening will bring together Black Tie elegance, awards, live music, jewellery, philanthropy and international networking within one of Venice’s most extraordinary historic residences.

From Paris and Cannes to Venice
Rather than building Royal Gentlemen around a single annual gala, Thomas Misse has positioned the concept alongside moments when the international worlds of culture, fashion and cinema naturally converge. Paris has provided the setting during Haute Couture Week, while Cannes has become another important destination during the Cannes Film Festival. In January 2026, Royal Gentlemen staged its Grand Dinner at the Court at the Ritz Paris, while its Cannes gatherings have brought the concept to the French Riviera during one of the busiest weeks of the global cinema calendar.

Venice offers a natural continuation of that philosophy. The 83rd Venice International Film Festival takes place from 2 to 12 September 2026, drawing actors, directors, producers, international media, photographers and cultural figures to the lagoon and the Lido. Against this intense backdrop of premieres and red carpets, the Royal Gentlemen evening proposes something deliberately more intimate: a historic palazzo, a selected circle of guests and enough time for conversations to develop beyond the formality of an introduction.
Ca’ Sagredo itself is fundamental to that idea. Rising directly from the Grand Canal and recognised as a National Monument, the centuries-old palazzo preserves the character of a Venetian noble residence through its monumental staircase, frescoed rooms, historic salons and significant artistic heritage. For the gala, the building will become more than a backdrop. Music, presentations, art and encounters will unfold through its interiors, creating an evening in which contemporary international society meets the history of Venice.

Congress Awards: Recognition with an International Reach

Alongside the Royal Gentlemen concept, the Congress Awards will introduce another dimension to the evening. Founded by Anna Stukkert, the awards developed from the international network surrounding the International Investment Congress, whose first edition was held in Munich in 2016. Over the following years, the platform expanded through international gatherings connecting figures from entrepreneurship, investment, culture, media and philanthropy.
Among the personalities expected to be recognised in Venice is Eric Adams, the 110th Mayor of New York City, who served from 2022 to 2025 and previously held office as Brooklyn Borough President and New York State Senator. His participation reflects the broader character of the Congress Awards, where recognition is intended to cross traditional professional boundaries and bring public leadership into conversation with business, culture and social impact.
Philanthropy will have its own presence through Alisa Roever, founder of Angels Helpers Foundation. Her participation reflects an increasingly important idea behind the gathering: international influence is measured not only through professional visibility or commercial achievement, but also through the ability to create social impact. Within the evening, philanthropy is therefore integrated naturally alongside entrepreneurship, culture and international recognition rather than treated as a separate ceremonial element.

Music, Jewellery and a Venetian Interpretation of La Dolce Vita
The artistic character of the evening will be shaped in part by Rezeda Kalimullina, appearing as Special Guest Singer. With 25 years of stage experience and a repertoire moving between soul, jazz and pop, Kalimullina brings a powerful vocal identity to the programme. Her artistic development has included mentorship from multiple Grammy-nominated American vocalist, pianist and composer Karen Edwards, whose career has included performances with Stevie Wonder, Prince and Tony Bennett. In Venice, Kalimullina’s appearance is conceived less as a conventional performance between programme segments and more as part of the atmosphere unfolding throughout the night.
The visual interpretation of La Dolce Vita will continue through Oliver Weber Collection, the evening’s Official Jewellery Partner. The Austrian-designed jewellery brand has developed an international presence across more than 50 countries and has longstanding expertise in working with Swarovski® crystals. For Ca’ Sagredo, Oliver Weber Collection will present its new Dolce Vita Collection, inspired by Venice itself: reflections on water, architecture, Carnival, changing light and the theatrical character of the city. Presented against frescoes and centuries-old Venetian interiors, the contemporary collection will create a deliberate dialogue between modern jewellery design and the artistic heritage of the palazzo.

Ultimately, the Venice gathering brings together the elements that have come to define Thomas Misse’s Royal Gentlemen concept: a remarkable location, an international moment and a guest circle selected not simply for visibility but for the potential of the connections created inside the room. With Marek Harmony, Anna Stukkert and the Congress Awards joining the project, the evening moves naturally between international networking and recognition, culture and philanthropy, music and design.
For one night during the Venice Film Festival, Ca’ Sagredo will become a private interpretation of La Dolce Vita. Not simply as a theme printed on an invitation, but as an approach to hospitality in which the surroundings, the people and the conversations are as important as the programme itself.
