Independent couture houses rarely survive outside the backing of a luxury conglomerate — yet Polish designer Dorota Goldpoint has built a client base spanning Dubai, Asia, Europe and the Americas without one. Her latest proof point: a string of red-carpet placements at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival (September 9–12, 2026), dressing entrepreneurs, executives and public figures rather than relying on a single celebrity face. Among them: FashionTV CEO Maria Lisovska, who wore a black corseted look with a matching skirt to the amfAR gala, and Niousha Noosh, a Persian-American entrepreneur and investor whose digital platform reaches millions. Actress Gabi Lopes, Miss Universe Brazil Mariani Piaget, model Andrea-Roxana Chioaca, actress Patricia Contreras, Izabela Zofia Switoń-Kulińska, and former intelligence analyst Aliia Roza rounded out the roster.

Goldpoint founded her label after a fashion design and management course in London, choosing to build original collections rather than resell established brands — a slower, less capital-efficient model that is now paying off through direct relationships rather than seasonal marketing campaigns.
